In the 1960s, Loretta worked at a power company when very few women worked in the energy industry.
Loretta was the first woman at the company to become an Electric Meterman Apprentice.
After her apprenticeship, Loretta became the first woman in the Pacific Northwest to earn the title of Journeyman Electric Meterman.
Loretta traveled around the country to attend trainings to further her education and career.
At her retirement in 1994, Loretta was the only woman in the power company to ever hold the title of Journeyman Relay Technician.

Washington Wildlife Rehabilitators Association where people can get training to become professional wildlife rehabilitators.
Wildlife rehabilitation is a profession involving the treatment and care of sick, injured and orphaned wild animals with the goal of releasing them back to their natural habitats in the wild. Wildlife rehabilitation is not an attempt to turn wild animals into pets. ...released animals must be able to survive on their own and be an integral part of their species population, i.e., recognize and obtain appropriate foods, select mates of their own species to reproduce, and respond appropriately to potential dangers (people, cars, dogs, natural predators, etc.).

...a biology-related degree provides knowledge essential for quality hands-on animal care; develops an understanding of wildlife as they relate to humans and the environment; and gives you an edge in this increasingly competitive field.

Elective: Career Tech: Digital Photography

- Cropping is cutting out all the parts you don't want to see.
- Rotating is turning the photo around so it's turned the way you like.
- Retouch is removing pimples and stuff like that.
- Red-eye is removing red eyes.
- Straighten is straightening the photo.
- Fix is fixing the lighting and stuff like that.
- Tint is tinting the photo a certain color.
- Text is typing words on the photo.
(Picmonkey you can access from the internet and Picasa and Windows live photo gallery you have to install.)
Hi, I'm going to put all my favorite photos here in a little gallery. (They,re all edited on the computer.)
