Earth day is a day where we celebrate helping the earth. Earth day is celebrated in more than 175 countries each year. Earth day was founded by John McConnell in 1969. Earth day is on April 22. About the same time the first Earth day was founded, a separate Earth day was founded by United States Senator Gaylord Nelson. It was first held on April 22, 1970.
